Blue moon with a clean slate?
Tonight is a blue moon, that is, the second time in one month there is a full moon. Nope, it’s not actually blue, but a double full month in a month only happens every two to three years.
It’s also the day after the all-nighter I just pulled tracking Hurricane Idalia that made landfall on the west coast of Florida early this morning.
Turns out tonight’s once-in-a-decade event also has some significance related to a time to embrace change. The moon is reaching it’s “perigee” tonight, it’s nearest point to earth on it’s orbit, so it will look almost 15% bigger tonight too.
It’s an in-your-face sort of thing.
This super moon is in the zodiac sign of Pisces, and, dear readers, I’m told this is a great thing, especially for those that found the last year particularly challenging, especially in the areas of romance and finances. For the astrology buffs out there, turns out this point on the moon’s orbit is also at a “harmonious angle” to Jupiter, the planet that rules the sign of Pisces.
All of this is to say, here is your sign to take inventory of your life: who are you spending your time with? Where are your resources flowing? What “harmonious” event are you ready to welcome into your life?
I’ve made the not-so-funny joke that I have been waiting for “my” year since 2018. Maybe this is it? I’m going to continue to work hard, be grateful, resourceful, and present … in hopes the change is coming.
